solid animation

good:
that was pretty entertaining...
the idea was very original and light
hearted; however, it seemed a little
slow in some scenes and the music
was simplistic. though the visuals were
some of the sharpest that i have seen
and i google at them, has a very clean
and proffesional quality to it.

humorous

booyah:
love the storybook fashion of it.
reminds me of the similiar skit on
"late night of conan'o brien". though
it wasnt a flash, doesnt mean it cant
be enjoyed...which is dissapointing
because most think that newgrounds
is only for animations, but it can be
used for any form of artwork too.

I did make it in Flash. Glad you liked it!

solid movie

good:
*well, it seemed like it was a sloppy
mess visually. one one hand, you had
sprite graphics mixed with regular flash
and some mixed together.
*besides the point, the audio was fitting
choice, but seems to leave little impact after the
awesome 'hey man nice shot' of the original.
*liked the ability of having the normal
control options, scene selection, and a few
extras to boot; making this very interactive
for a movie.
*violence was top notch and
was bloody satisfaction.
*most of the movies style is
contributed to the movies awesome
choreography and action scenes. though
i felt a little disgruntled with the quick ending
where a rainbow was coming from mario's hands
and comsuming the palace; it dont rememeber
mario being able to do that.

solid interactivity

good:
just another death animation; however,
the visuals are very slick and fluid. some
of the death animtions were predictable,
but i kinda enjoyed the pun it makes at itself.
the violence was top notch and the whole
experience was midly entertaining. also,
the sfx were fitting and appropiate and i
really enjoyed the snow crushing under
the character's feet, added a nice touch
overall.

great:
humor was creative, delightful,
and original. though it did get old
after it went more then three skits, but
made a awesome comeback with folgers
coffe parody. visuals and audio was great,
very spiffy fire effects, and satans voice was
humourous...what was up with him
dissapearing into a flash of puppies?
though my only complaint was the clarity
of the phone calls, sounded realistic for a
phone call, but was hard to decipher what
the shoe store owners was saying, but not all
of the time.

monotonous

meh:
i have mixed feelings about this;
however, it wasnt that groundbreaking
or original to sway my opinion of it.
of course the mood is very deep and
the music perfectly fits with it...though
the scenes were dragged out way too
long then necessary and become tediously
boring. as for its style...well...the intro screen
had a nice caligraphy art to it, but the rest was
more of a slideshow then an actual animation.
also, for originality, i have seen animations like
this before where a kid might commit suicide
just because he got beat up. though this does
deliever a good message regardlessly.

nothing too new
or interesting

nice try :P

solid movie:
it was good, but still reuses the
same humor and mechanics that
the original had...making it repitive
and not that comical. hopefully the
sequel of this wont be another itteration
and would have some extra creative
thought put into it.

it was okay for a sprite movie,
but like sprite movies, it has all
the same flaws such as lacking
visual appeal and unoriginality
because there are countless amount
of sprite movies based on mario and
luigi; however, i will admitt the captain
planet was a new one on me. it made me
laugh when wario made an appearence as
the character with "heart" power and luigi
made a sigh. because really, what kind of
power is heart :d

solid animation

good:
i love the crazy hikinks of
burnt face man. a very good
spoof of micellaneous super heroes
in general and a qwerky sense of
humor too.

ok:
though the humor was stale
and not that original, i got to
give you kudos points for the
fresh, crisp, smooth visuals
and good voicework. also, it
tickles my fancy to how similair
it is to the old fashioned commercials
or to that of ren and stimpy.
