solid movie

the visuals were simplistic,
but fitting. the choice of
music was excellent and
adds humor to the random,
incoherent, and silly battle
sequences. dont know why
i find it so appealing, but its
charm works. like the robots
facial expression, remeniscent
of the robot clank from 'ratchet
and clank'.

love the visuals and graphic
design, with the lighting and
particle effects; such as smoke, debris,
explosions, fire, etc. the animation
was fast paced, frentic, fluid, and
smooth too. the concept, not entirely
original, had its own artistic flare that
was highly appealing. the choice of
music wasnt too shabby; however,
nofx seemed a little out of place
with the rest of the cartoon. i
know that your the director, but
it seemed that something better
then skateboarding esque music
could of been chosen.

well, the graphics were mediocre
and this really didnt make any
sense whatsoever. i guess it
has this cute factor going for
it that only girls would understand.
then again, it could just be a pointless
animation.

own unique and artistic
flare. very impressive
and fluid animation too.

solid movie

a very light hearted and warming
animation. music was fitting and
the visuals slick with style and
design. love and adore the chibi
esque character designs with
cool, refreshing color palette.
the story was original and unique,
which leaves a good state of mind
after viewing, which isnt often in most
other animations.

i wait eagerly for the real
thing. too bad it was a preview,
but as a preview, i can say im
hhoked into the potentially
amazing series. the visuals
are subperb and the particle
effects niffty; smoke, debris,
shadow, explosions. the story
is also intriguing and a very
original take on heaven and
hell idea...if that is what i
presume it to be. the foreign
language further adds some
style and uniqueness to the
animation.

[Stick Slayer Episode VIII]

solid movie

yes, finnaly i have found a
cartoon series that shares
my same passion and hatred
towards stick figure animations.
they are just so replusive, bland,
uncreative, unoriginal, poor excuse
of an art form. its pathetic to see
animators still making them when
they are above the ages of five and
six. despite the cool aspect of this
series, the visuals were rough and
sloppy around the edges. at times
i am impress with the graphics and
niffty special effects, like fire; however,
it might of been your intentions to make
the stick figures ridiculously atrocious.
the guest star cameos of other flash
major hit characters added a nice feeling
to the movie, but would of been great to
see them more involved in the action, rather
then the pointlessly slaughtering within a minute
of appearence. i could be wrong, but i think bitey
of brackenwood could of put up more of a fight
against the horde of sticks. the voicework was
decent, but most of the time i could bearly make
out the probably corny one liners the main
protaginist was making throught the clamourous
sound effects that were ensuing. overall it was
a rounded movie with spiffy visuals, glad at
least i made it in time for the conclusion...if
it is?

booyah!

killing soft and furry animals
hasnt look never so better.
the animation was visually
stimulating and the on screen
action was hectic. very eye
numbing trying to keep up
with the impressive and
choreographed cinema and
fight scenes. i think this truely
rivals that of madness and in my
opinion surpasses it. the violence
was subperbly pleasent and bloody
satisfaction. the backgrounds are
already vibrant with colors, but the
amount of blood splattering on the
screen was exuberant. the sfx effects
were fitting and choice of music appropiate,
though not that exciting. the artistic flare
of this animation was appealing, so some
credit due there; however, despite the
character designs and direction of the
figting, the rest of the movie wasnt that
orignal and a little too incoherent with
pointless violence. though there is nothing
wrong with experiencing the ultraviolent
every now and then. just would of been
nicer if this series were to stray off the
conventional concepts that the original
madness reinvented. still a personal
favourite in my book, good job!

not too shabby

the animation was highly
subperb and looks remarkable
like the original cartoon series.
regardlessly, the humor was so0o
incoherent, i didnt really find it
that funny. similiar to that of
space ghost coast to coast.
also, the voicework was really
atrocious and sounded like old,
decrepit men. the humor is the
only real reason why this cartoon
doesnt excel, i think making it more
like the original series with action
and none of the quirky, shallow
humor would further improve it.
since you already have the visuals
down, just seems more fitting and
appropiate if you did.

not too shabby

though the character designs
werent that original, creative,
or appealing. the visual effects
were very spiffy...though im not
shure to quite else to say. i havent
seen the movie yet that this cartoon
is based on, but isnt it suppose to
be a comedy? regardlessly, the dbz
effects were very corny and the whole
direction of making this an action title
seems a little off putting, especially to
the source material; however, it was a
quality animation, despite the incoherent
fight scenes. it would of been better if the
you could actually tell who was on whose
team...it just became a little random with
the appearence of all these characters
without any sense of direction. i might
be taking this cartoon a little too seriously,
but it would be nice if it did the same too.
