subperb idea

thanks for adding that extra
tid bit about him being the
grim reaper...it makes sense
when you ponder about it.
i have to say this is an
unbelieavble and original
idea that is genuinely creepy
and scary. though i wouldnt
say much about it in the visual
sense, because the graphics were
only mediocre, but more in just
the creative thought process you
have put into it. the voicework was
subperb and truely does add or
enhances the unerving edge to
the overall experience. just think
it would of been a classic if it were
better to look at, the woman on the
ground didnt look that convincing.
just improve the quality of its look
without changing the art style of it
and it would be awesome. hope to
see some more imaginative works
from you...great job!

solid movie

humorous and witty
dialogue and voicework.
the visuals were great
with the crisp, sharp,
refine look and unique
artistic flare. this looks
like a promising series,
if it were to be continued.

meh

the dialogue was unoriginal
and not that creative...
most importanly, not
funny. the visuals were
mediocre, but anything
is better then god awful
sprite animations. the
voicework gets the job
done, but does lack the
talent to really make this
humorous; ie, voicework
from claveman. the interactivity
was a nice touch and allowed for
chosing specific scenes of the movie.
score: **
nothing too new
or interesting.

solid episode for once

something different for a
change i guess. despite
the same repetition and
monotony the series has
gone through in ages...it
was somewhat nice to see
Pilz-e as a character then
rather an appearence. for
once the humor isnt relying
on the over dosage of vulgar
and bitching...rather then Pilz-e
and his medication known as
"candies". i have to say i had
a good laugh and the visuals
were very good, despite simple
animation movement. though i
still wish for something more
ground breaking then this, but...
it will suffice for now.

solid movie

nicely done. the animation
was good, despite the character
designs lacking creativity or
origninality. the visuals did
have its own artistic flare
and the choice of music
was fitting and enlightend
the experience overall.
the violence and carnage
with the blood spraying
and spooing does the ninja
justice; however, despite the
entertaining experience one
can get from a litte of the
ultra-violence, it did seem
to lack any real appeal. of
course the visuals were great,
neat style of art, and very gory...
but its nothing too new in terms
of content or in material. this is
an old one by my terms and did
nothing to become ground
breaking, which does hold
this back from being subperb.
.:also, while visting your site, i
would be more interested in
seeing you do animations on
such comics as "grim tales from
down below", that would be
interesting and unique series:.

Thanks.

mediocre

the cartoon was very
long, montonous, tedious,
boring, bland, lacking, and
devoid of real humor. which
the dialogue wasnt that creative
and the scenes felt dragged out
way too long then necessary.
despite the complaints, the
voicework was decent and
visuals werent too shabby.
plus the character designs
and art style was appealing,
but the overall package was
midly entertaining.
score: **
nothing too new

InterruptedVision responds:

Not many positive words there, but that's the kind of review that actually gives something. We'll definately fix almost all of your complaints upon releasing the second episode, but the very style of the humor that exists within the film will not be changed much. You know, it's supposed to be strange, not just endless hysterical laughter. Anyway, we hope you'll like the second one, significant improvements will be done indeed.

witty, clever, and
humorous dialogue
and voicework. the
visuals were great
and the interactivity
between menus and
during the animation,
it was a nice addition
that most flash cartoons
dont have.

outstanding

nicely well made animation
and witty, yet incoherent
dialogue. the animation
was subperbly fluid and
some of the sharpest
graphics seen as of yet.
the art design is original
and refreshingly unique,
with creative character
designs, personalities
and setting. which all
seems remeniscent to
that of Jhonen Vasquez.
it was slightly enhanced
from the previous episode
with an addition with some
music for a change, but at
times it did cover or mask
the dialouge at times making
hard to decipher what he just
said. regardlessly the voicework
was still talented and enjoying to
listen to. also please add a preloader,
it makes the transition and start off
of the movie run smoother, even with
the size only being at 3.5mb.

solid animation

simplistic animation, but
very light hearted art
design with a dark sense
of humor behind the candy
coating visuals. as for 'happy
tree friends', i have seen some
people get addicted to that show
and its persistent melody, constantly
muttering it incoherentcy for hours
on end. which makes the humor
even more appealing and realistic;
though still annoying.

another great episode of what
looks to be a beloved series
on newgrounds. the animation
was silky smooth and the best
fbf animation on this site as of
yet. its obvious you know your
flash and have kickass skills.
the characters were unique
and each seems to have its
own unique personality. though
there wasnt much dialogue to
show such, but each had its
own visual flare in appearence.
music was fitting and the overall
experience was charming, delightful,
and a light hearted experience. i
can only hope and desire to see
some more.
