lacking

flawed:
it would of been better if
there was some humor in
there. the visuals were
great and i liked the character
designs, especially the fat lady
in part two; however, the sense
of humor isnt that creative of
entertaining. just watching a
guy with a butcher knife chasing
a chicken, that might sound funny
to some viewers, but ive seen this
type of humor before and it isnt that
fresh or new to me. you would only
find this entertaining if your into the
old cartoons like tom and jerry, but
otherwise, dont expect a good laugh
out of this one.

not creative humor

bad:
i guess there was some humor
to be found within the random
incoherentness of it all. though,
i think this got on front page because
anything addressed to him, or his
brother, makes it on front page
regardlessly. im not complaining
to much about this, but it was midly
entertaining; unless your into that
kind of humor.

I think you're just just putting it down for getting on the frontpage, it's not like I put it there if Tom likes it and puts it there it's his disision

great tribute

booyah:
not only was this a great madness
movie, your not even krinkles,
this would make him proud. i
like the holiday twist on madness,
but i got a little dissorienated with
the first fight scene with the elves.
me not thinking cleary to remeber
that elves were small had me confused
for a second as to why the characters
were miss proportionate to each other.
after i realize that, the movie was fine.
music was fast beat along with the
animation and the carnage. though it
was easy to tell that krinkle didnt do this
becuase you animate blood differently,
but it was still kick ass none the less.

great:
i was ready not to give my hopes
up when i saw this on front page,
but after watching it, it was a kickass
tribute/holiday short featuring half
life. the sense of humor was very
appealing and qwerky. liked all of
the head crab goodness. that cartoon
character of gordoon freeman was
awesome in detail to the real thing.
the voicwork and audio was good,
especially the head crab scream,
and i can only hope to see a parody
series done off this. im tired of the
halo ones, which are the only good
video game parodies on this site.
also, for a movie that was done in
25 hours, it was amazing. it looked
professional and the lip sync wasnt
that bad. hope to see more!

decent movie

medicore:
guessing by the title it was going
to involve a heart warming tale
about a pyromaniac girl, though,
this wasnt as i thought it would be,
it still works. some scenes of the
movie felt dragged out for too long
and wasnt that neccessary. the story
was decent, visuals were decent,
audio was decent and fitting...overall
it was decent. movie wasnt that ground
breaking, but it wasnt horrible. though
i fail to see the point of the movie, was
it that some people are happier to be
dead, then alive. if so, its kinda
depressing, but at least the girl is with
her grandmother.

nothing too new or
interesting.

Ok, I respect your review, because you're also a flash animator. But I can't agree with you in some cases. Umm, Merry Christmas and good luck with Vamp series next year !

subperb

oustanding:
loved how you guys animated,
especially how fluid the
characters were and if they
actually had substance on the
screen. though it took me ahwile
to remeber who that girl was from
perfect dark. also there was of
course kirby, zelda, and mario.
it was nice to see that you were
working with characters from the
n64 age, but how come you didnt
include banjo kazooie or even the
notorious conker. you cant froget
conker! the plotline was ridiculous,
but i liked it for the fact that kirby
it was coming from a very imaginative
kirby. voicework was subperb and the
whole presentation was professional
A grade material.

great:
short, but ever so sweet.
though i wonder who that
anominous voice was that
had his hands in his pants?
also, has santa gone mad?
doesnt he know how
hazardous playdo is?
playdo is the exact
equivalent of abestos.

not too shabby

ok:
this offbeat humor just reminds me
of aqua teen hunger force. though
the animation wasnt the slickest
piece of work that i have seen,
due to the fact that the animating
was horrible; when they were fighting,
they stood in one stance and bumped
each other. maybe that was intentionnal
or just how you animate, it was funny
either way; however, i like to see it as
im laughing at you, rather then with you.
voicework was awesome and the biggest,
and only, highlight of this cartoon.

Slickernaut responds:

Yes, it was intentional. I didn't accidentally animate it that way. Thanks for watching!

lawn gnome!!!

the style is very unique and
original. something about
the use of thick outlining
and smooth color palette
is pleasent to the eyes.
also, the character is one
of the best i have seen on
newgrounds; he is a lawn
gnome; shuffles when he
walks, doesnt pick up
his feet; speeks giberish;
when he wakes up, he
rises like dracula and he
is so charming! its funny
when he collects random
garbage off the road or
roadkill. the last scene
got to me when he had
that car freshener up
with a ornament attached
to it as if it were a tree.
dont know if thats
depressing or funny?
also, the music was very
fitting and good, especially
the part with audio from
nightmare before christmas.
hope to see more even after
christmas.

its improved a bit

ok:
the animation is good, and i
like the character designs,
especially that squid,
but the audio was atrocious.
thats the only thing that keeps
this series from being great in
my opinion. also, why do you
animate the characters as if
they had parkinsons disease.
there always twiching and
shaking, not that appealing
visually. furthermore, you
need to put more content
in each episode, its number
seven already and there really
isnt a major difference in story
from when it started. and it
wouldnt hurt in trying to make
the scenes more connected
together because its so
incoherent and
dissorienating.
