9/10: subperb

That was really good and for a second there, I thought it was just going to be a another clock movie. Don't get me wrong, but clocks are really getting stale now, actually, their just plain rotten now. Rarely do I find an actual good clock movie, but this one is exceptional. I liked how you 1st off mimiced salad fingers. Which was nicely done and fitting because that's what everyone seems to be raving about. 2ndly, I thought the oxymoron anticlock clock responded to those reviews in a witty and clever way. It seemed he had every good comeback to each of the responces. I almost felt like saying burrrn or zing, but then realize I would be talking to myself. The graphics...I mean animation...was excellent and fitting. The sound was hilarious when he made that disgruntled, crackled laugh. That was the most bizzare thing I have ever heard ever. Also the inclusion of the video of all those star wars fans beating the crap out of each other with rubber or noodles was funny too. It just shows how some people can be dorks in real life, but aren't we all just a little bit too? This was entertain, for all of 6 min, to listen to rather then to watch, but I guess that is why it is a talk show.

[Pico's Unloaded]

10/10: perfection incarnate

It's unfair! I wish I had that much talent in my animations! I gotta say, this is the best cartoon based on newgrounds favourite character, pico, since The Perfect Murder!!! It is so breathtaking to watch every delicouso, scrumpousity, amaztasicanly, moment of it. Sorry for making up words, but there seems to be no words to describe how awe strucken it is. The fight scene during the rain was just spectacular because the reflections are so acurately done. I can praise about this forever, but I'll keep it short.

10/10: perfection incarnate

Short, but sweet! It was so appealing that I had to add it to my fav list, it was visual eye candy! Please respond or email me on the subject of how you animated it, it was so fluid and smooth. Did you draw it frame by frame or is there some trick because my series that I'm doing is in need for some help. It isn't horrible, but could use some sprucing up from a veteran animator. I would really apprecaite it, thanks!

Thanks. Glad you liked it so much. Already talked to you in IMs, but for anyone else that's wondering, it's a combination of things. Some parts are more tweening, some parts are more frame by frame, and a lot of it is kind of a mix of both. I was trying to learn how to make animating easier and faster, and i think it was harder learning it than it would have been to just do frame by frame, but maybe i'll have a better idea now of when to use that sort of technique.

I think the only reason I like this movie was because it reminded me of taking 2 different brands of toys and having them riduculsy fight each other...when I was like 7...geesh...it's not like I still do it now...or do I?

7/10: good

I liked how unique the characters were by how they had marshmellow heads. The animation was sparse though and the words were more annoying then helpful (it stuck out like s a sore thumb). The point to the story was true and well taken, but suicide isn't the right thing to do. He may think that it would make life easier, but how do you think the impact would be on everyone that knew him well (family & friends). I do despise how people bully others without knowing the fatal consequences of thier actions (either to themselves like suicide or others like shootings).

The british voice and style of the cartoon reminded me of something that would come from teletubies, but obviously meant for older audience though. I think it was hilarious to listen to, but however the graphics and characters could of used some work. Too bad it wasn't as great visually as it was to listen to.

[21 O'Clock Street]

8/10: great!

I'm not into clock movies, but this one was nicely done. The animation and graphics were smooth with a nice color palette. I google over all those delicous colors! The violence and action were top notch, but humor didn't appeal to me. That's because I'm hard to impress in the humor department. The music choice fits perfectly with the animation and I found your selection of clock characters wierd or the characters themself wierd. What was up with the kermit the frog head?
Anyway it wasn't one of those badly done clock crew animations that have drug the clock crew's name and reputation through the mud. It was another nice entry in the oddly fragmented series and would like to see more from you, but try to make it on a better spoof then 21 Jump Street show that you were doing...I don't think I've ever heard of it?

Nah, 21 Jump Street was just a cheesy 80s version of, I don't know, Beverly Hills 90210, with guns. Making a violent cop show is much more fun.

The Kermit head is Pube Muppit, a character which if you haven't heard of him yet, you'll probably hear from soon. There's always someone cranking out Pube Muppit movies like there's no tomorrow.

7/10: good

I'm a little confused...I thought he died in the car acccident or was it the jump off the building and if he did jump off the building, why? I'm I suppose to already know this or will it be explained in the sequel? Also the chalk was a symbol for what? It's obvious it has an important role in the cartoon since it was found in his hand after death and was inside his body. Did it represent how he was responsible for his own death or something bigger? This is obviously a well thought out a cartoon with emphisis on a deep story and mood. I just wish the graphics were better and if the cartoon wasn't that colorfull. Either noir or staurated colors would work best for what you are trying to go for.

It ALL will be explained in the sequel. He died from the fall at the end of the movie. The guys in the carcrash were the drug dealers. The chalk was the symbol that he took his own life. He never knew he killed himself, never knew he took drugs and never knew his girlfriend wanted him back. But the other spirits take him back in time to where he does eventually jump off the edge. Of course, we still don't know why. But you will, in Part 2. I'm glad you enjoyed the story line. It DID take a while to come up with. And yes, it is very confusing but you will find out what happens next.

[Sisco's Case Trailer]

8.5/10 viewing: great!

I liked the whole premise of it except for the beginning with him getting back a stolen computer chip...sounded cliche. However, by looking at the random scenes, it intrigues me. Especially when the detective fights students at the school, but something doesn't seem right about them. I thought the camera panning around a person in the rain up close was just awesome! Also the one scene, exactly from Akira, with a gun being shot thousands of times, but you actually see him react accordanly to each hit. Obvious it looks promising and as a trailer, it did a good job of showing what's to come. My only promblem is the lack of detail in the characters. You're animation is awesome, but the detective had a generic and poorly drawn face. This would of recieved a perfect score, but that problem is something to work on. Please do not over look my request. I think it would hit it big if it had more detail put into the characters face at least! I think the detective would look more bad ass and likeable with the extra effoert put into it. I don't want you to change the style, but a 5 o'clock shadow would look sick :P

[A Grave in the Desert]

9/10 viewing: suberp

Don't listen to some people's dumb coments that don't have any justification. The cartoon did seem to be a little to fast for the music, but the music was perfectly chosen for this to fit in with the mood of the story. It was awesome in all aspects including originality, violence, graphics, and animation. I was most impressed with the scene were there was a reflection of the castle in the desert in the woman's eye. It had it's moments of ooh and awe. It's a very moody and serious short that obviously a must see. I just wish that it won't be overlooked and will get some attention on the hompage coupled with a few awards and probably a spot on top 50. Trust me, it's that good.
