solid

i still question the purpose
of its creation, though i
enjoyed it from a visual
sense on how it can show
two cool and very stylish
animation styles. otherwise
it was satisfying and suffices.
personal fave is Ben Pfaffs
just because i adore its fbf :P

fbf? don't know what that means, but thanks man. It's interesting to see how many people love my shit and hate Bills, and vise versa. I personally think Bill's better than I am, but I sure as hell won't argue with you hehe. Oohhhhh, frame by frame maybe??? used to the term keyframing. Whatever. Thanks for the review and compliments man. Peace out. -----> Ben

subperb by all means

not only is the graphics
very smooth in motion
and in framerate, but
fluid in the choreographed
action scenes, which were
highly impressive. also
have to give congratz
for making this animation
original in story and design,
quite unique and well thought
out in my opinion, but mostly
intriguing. music was excellently
choosen and fitting for the mood
and style. surprise to not have
notice this, but its a fave and
a watch. also rare to have such
professional and quality voicework too.

Thank you very much MJ. I'm really glad you liked my flash, I hope you'll enjoy the next one too!

solid

even though it seems a
little outdated for a
spoof of those crack
addicted, japanese
anime trading card
shows...it was actually
good for what it is. the
parody was funny with
its more mature touch,
though its more like a
one hit wonder and i dont
really see myself coming back
to this. so a series doesnt sound
too promising unless you can
make it even more outrageous.

PiGPEN responds:

I can
and will
make it
more
outrageous.
hey do
you realize
that you write

very tall

quite delightful!

the voicework was rather
great and had some
personality to it. the
visual style was appealing
with the character designs
enjoyable. also had a qwerky
sense of humor despite the
theme of james bond and
i still didnt catch on to that
RE inside joke, even being
the afficando of the series :(

Thanks for the, apparingly poetic, review.
The Resi Evil thing refers to Legendary Frog's upcoming flash Resident Evil : Code Veronica Flash Edition.

pyro stupidity

while on the subject
of people having no
common sense with
fire, my friends friend
set his leg on fire just
to see what would happen.
then he blames his friends
for why they didnt stop him,
then they reminded that he
told them not to...quite the
moronic veck eh?

as for the cartoon, it was
kinda derivative...then
again the rap about at
stop, drop, and roll was
somewhat worth it. not
too shabby of visuals
either.

TmsT responds:

Derivative? LOL it was "derived" from real events. Is that such a crime?

booyah!

nicely done! the graphics
were gorgeous, from the
awesome lighting to the
intricate detail in the
backgrounds and in
color. which captures
the mood perfectly for
the setting; sfx effects too.
great presentation in style
and in menu, loved the logo.
my only complaint is if the
main character or protaginist
is actually a character or just
a stick figure...it seems to be
a black, shadowy outline not
revealing too much about his
identity. the only reason it would
be bad is the fact on how much
you put attention into every other
facet of the flash, but leave the
characters as sticks?! just seems
out of placed when compared
to everything else if you know
what i mean. the action was
satisfying too, but the storyline
doesnt seem that entirely creative or new.

spacejelly responds:

this one lacked storyline in my opinion - the 2nd movie has story, AND drawn characters.

meh

the voicework didnt
seem that bad, but the
audio sound fluctuated
a lot in terms of quality.
great some scenes,
obnoxiously static in
others. the visuals werent too
shabby, but not impressive
either. the caricatures of
the characters were great
and the animation was rather
simplistic. humor was decent,
mainly short little skits taking
place in restaurant, with a
star wars theme. nothing more
or less from whats to expect
out of a days work animation.

I've never had a rap-review before.

WORD!

medicore

its was rather boring
and the animation
was subpar...mostly
rigid and rough in
motion, as if it could
use more frames in
movement. then again
it wasnt a fbf animation
and mostly a simple use
of symbols and tweening.
the humor wasnt too shabby
and the voicework was solid,
but the content material isnt
tirely original or subperbly
creative. music choice was
in variety and the length
of the cartoon is quite
lengthy, which is satistfying
only if it were more then
midly entertaining.

damnhooligan responds:

What the hell.
Dude,
what's up
with your formatting?
DH

not too shabby

the humor was qwerky
and the cast of characters
had thier own style...though
it was only midly amusing
and only has the makings
for a average series. only
because it doesnt really
scream creatively new
or groundbreaking to
me; nothing more,
nothing less.

grim-studios responds:

Thanks for saying why it didn't wow you over. So far, the next episode is looking way better.

booyah

unique and original
visuals that carries
its own artistic flare.
i liked the dbz reference
and fighting cinematics
which lend to the great
graphics and special
effects. overall it was
an oddity, but quite
entertaining to watch.
also, hercule rocks! ^_^
