not too shabby

ok:
this would be better if you fix
some bugs and speed up the pacing.
even though i could only last about
50 sec at most, but thats because i
would jump to the center platform,
just to watch my character go right
through it. it was frustrating becuase
it happened several times in one game.
also, dont have the first wave appear
right were the character starts, because
i need some transition time between the
mouse and keyboard without dying in two
seconds; however, it wasnt that big of a
deal. visually it was simplistic, but it kinda
works. i like the water effects, pretty spiffy.
if you ever to plan to make a game like
this agian, it would be awesome if it was
a side scroller. that would be more frentic
and fast pace, similair to what you would
see in contra; avoiding traps while moving
forward. and it wouldnt hurt to make more
levels that are unique amd specific to a
certain greek god, if thats what posidon
pertains to.

too short

solid:
not many timing sensitive
games on this site. this
game was on the short
side, but lasted longer
then normal due to the
trial and error process.
though it might get a
little frustrating at times,
its pretty challeging for
what it is and has the
player constantly on
thier toes in order to
get it right; however,
once you beat it, the
game doesnt really
warrant a retry at it.
hope you make a sequel,
but make it longer with
more traps. the story might
be a little wacky, but i like
the 'johnny quest' theme
you got going.

booyah!

great:
i love the artwork and the
concept, very stylish, but
its really challenging; even
on story mode. i like the
ability to do a full blast
of blood vomitting, which
is the funnest feature of
the game, but its not all
ways a good choice because
you have to replinsh off
maggots that fall out of
your mothers stomach,
eww. though i do realize
thats the point of the game
and what makes it challenging,
but argh. im glad you guys made
a sequel because i see the main
creature and the cactus monster
on front page all of the time. i
thought maybe it came from an
animation, but couldnt find out
what it was called. kinda guessed
it might of come from the creator
of dead babies because of how
similiar the artwork is, yet i never
bothered to find out. the game is
devioushly sick, but awesome.
violence is top notch and like
the smaller details such as blood
hitting the screen or even sliding
in guts for more speed. overall
it was a great game, but im going
to download it off your site to have
more fun with it. also, your style
just seems really remeniscent of
earth worm jim, just in terms of how
wacky the gameplay is.

solid game

really good:
liked how it had this old
school arcade feel to it,
but was still a flash game
visually. though it was
pretty easy to pick up
and play, but addictive
to keep a gamer addicted
to. the concept was simple,
yet appealing. though i
think some of the later
waves are pyhsically
impossible, i only made
it to the 4th wave. it might
of needed more depth and
some change in the
background to keep it
from feeling like the same
itteration, besides difficulty.

really good:
sweet, but ever so short.
the visuals are pack to the
brim with eye candy effects.
love the artwork and how
fluidly it animates as if it
actually has substance on the
screen. the action and carnage
that can ensue was very amazing,
watching explosions galore; with
miniscule citizens running away
from the power behemoth tank.
the sfx were very fitting and
captures what you would hear
on armageddon; however, the
gameplay wasnt that spectacular.
of course it was fun to pick up and
play, but there isnt that much depth
to it to warrant another try at it.
it was a little non-linear and had
you create as much commotion as
you can until the unenviable demise.
though it was fun while it lasted and
reminded me of the old school arcade
game 'rampage', great job overall!

not too shabby

ok:
controls felt awkard at times and
it was hard to execute basic moves.
music was fitting and the concept
wasnt that bad, especially a raver
with glow sticks as nuchakus. the
visuals were smooth and crisp.
though the lack of enemies;
huge, monotous rooms; and
rough controls keep it from
being amazing compared to
some of the other better brawl
games on this site.

solid game

wow:
ill agree with the last review too,
'my brain hurts'. that was very
mind bending indeed. its a great
memory game and it has me all
ways guessing. when i thought
i got the pattern down, it tricks
me and does something different.
very challenging and addictive
gameplay that had me hooked for
awhile. the fast beat music was very
fitting for the fast paced gameplay.
though it did lack in the visual
department, becuase the look was
bland and monotous, it makes up
for in the gameplay.

needs more depth

subperb:
though it was fun for only
five min, what five min those
were. this is very remeniscent
of chainsaw the children, but
in my opinon, even better.
the violence was brutal and
i liked playing as jason jr.
it was kinda challenging to
avoid the presents while
trying to kill the elves, but
it wasn that hard to get the
meter full to turn into the
big jason with the chainsaw,
which was kick ass! the music
and sfx added a nice touch,
especiallt the horror music.
though how come you didnt
add the classic melody that
friday the 13th is know for:
duv duv duv ch ch ch ah ah ah

CreativeFetus responds:

I was going to put the Jason warning sound in it, but dropped it for two reasons:

1.I didn't know where it would fit.
2.I didn't find a clear sound, without noise in the background.

And by the way, it's actully "Ki, Ki, Ki, Ma, Ma, Ma"(From F13th part 1, where Jason "says" 'Kill her Mommy, Kill her!'.

not too shabby

okay:
the game is only entertaining
for five min, but what five min
those were. i liked the ability
to chase a kid up a tree with a
chainsaw, then mow the tree down
to size to get the kid. the juggling
ability is the only reason why the
game lasted for at least five min.
the highest juggle i could get was
fifteen. it w as fun while it lasted
and i enjoyed the synj art, very
appealing. violence was top notch
and sfx were fitting.
though i wonder what ever happened
to that 'dad and me' project, which
looks like a sequel to this.

lacking

flawed:
this is overrated.
this doesnt seperate
itself from other countless
shooters on this site, except
that you shoot pop up ads.
how exciting (sarcasm).
i will say that the gun reloading
animation was nifty, but thats
the only thing that was. also,
ill give you kudos for subliminal
messages; however, im not going
to give this a five. the score best
sums up the feeling i got from this
game: nothing too new or interesting.
