booyah!

a nice, old school, arcade
experience. i dont know if
the game mechanics have
been done before, but as
my first viewing of it, i thought
it was very orginial. the best
way to sum it up is its break
out mixed with pinball, plus
a lot of spiffy powerups. the
sfx effects were very fitting
and captures the arcade
experience even more. the
visuals were sharp, crisp, clear,
and had a very professional quality
and effort put into the design as much
as the gameplay.

solid game

i first glance it appears to be
just another fish game, where
you eat smaller fisher to grow
bigger in size, to grow even
bigger to eat more variety of
fish; while avoiding bigger fish
then you, however, you also
threw in new gameplay mechanics
to the genre such as boss fights
and avoiding even new obstacles.
such as the shark that slowly closes
in everywhere you go. though whats
even more surprising then that is the
level setup is still the same of avoiding
marine life left and right, while fighting
the bosses and the miniboss sharks. which
makes this game very difficult, but addictive
to continue playing. the original music was
good and pleasent, though the visuals were
only mediocre. another nice addition is the
ability to submitt your high scores and view
whats currently top ones as of yet. i have
seen games where they have the high score
list set up on another website, but never on
the game itself, yet alone to actually change
with each play through. maybe it has been
done before, but i have seen my share of
flash games and thats a new one on me,
very nifty indeed and is whats come to be
expected.

solid game

nicely remade flash version
of commando, though not
entirely original, it is the
first to actually recapture
the remeniscent game
mechanics. the visuals, sfx,
and difficult gameplay is exactly
like what you come to experience
from the arcades, except with the
additional soundtrack which
enhances the hardcore
experience.

meh

the gameplay wasnt that
amazing, creative, original,
and one midly entertaining. the
only thing going for it was the
castlevania-esque vain in it.
though the controls were very
clunky and unpolished, something
that needs to be considered fixing
in the full version of the game. also,
another problem was on the moving
platform bits, it seemed that you
could stay on the platform as it went
offscreen. which is very cumbersome
because its hard to actually continue
forward when you mostly cant even
see your own character. there was
the occasional stutter in the animation,
which the frame rate could of been smoother
and the occasional lock up, which is bluntly
horrible. the visuals were simple, lackluster,
and not very visually stimulating. the sound
effects and music was only mediocre. i do
realize this was just a demo version, but
it still needs a lot of work and reconditioning
before it is finalized.

This game is only 25% complete. I fully intend to take this game to completely new heights with the release. The only reason I released this was for feedback. I was fortunate enough to get a front page spot!

outstanding gameplay

very impressive gameplay.
like the variety of game mechanincs
you threw into it, such as flying a
ship, sniping, interrogation, and
grappling. the grappling was so
realistic and engaging that you
kinda get disoriented when in
play, one of the most amazing
game mechanics that i have
seen used yet. the visuals were
damn gorgeous, especially the
lighting effects. giving it a surreal
look to the game when everything
is brightened with soften, blurred
edges. also, you had a nice original
music and soundtrack to fit perfectly
with the scenes and enlighten the drama.
the universe, setting, and characters are
pretty original and its obvious that some
thought was put into its fabrication, very
creative and intriguing storyline too.
overall it was a nice packaged game
to keep interest for awhile, though
mostly trail and error, and a great
entry into the shallow flash fps genre.
wait eagerly for the next itteration of
the series!

oh so clever

pretty addictive, challenging,
and mind boggling game. the
farthest i could get was only
level 17, then again im not
that great at puzzle games.
the visuals had this nice graphical
flare that makes it really unique and
differs from the rest of the games within
the road block genre. not only the visuals
were niffty, but the sfx effects were spiffy.
had this very unusual low bit rate ripping
sound that gives the game even more of
a surreal feeling, along with the graphics
which were colorful, soothing, and surprisingly
calming. you kind of get into this collective
state when in play. overall it was refreshing
experience to the already overused mechanics
of genre, and more importantly entertaining;
great job!

not too shabby

a very lengthy endeavor indeed.
the best way to sum it up is its
reminiscent of the old zelda
on the snes, instead of the
simplistic and boring visuals.
despite the mediocre graphics,
the gameplay was very addicting
and challenging. though the controls
could of been more responisive,
especially in an area were it seems
i was going backwards instead. maybe
that was suppose to be one of the
obstacles, but i doubt it. also, how
are you suppose to get passed the
green blocks when they push you
into a corner, preventing you from
escaping. then staying there intil your
enivatble demise. i was a little disgruntled
because i spent about 20 min. just to get
there in the first place. hopefully the next
itteration of the series could look more
visually stimulating and have the controls
more responsive and tight. otherwise then
that is was perfect.

solid game

its a nice escape indeed. the
visuals were simplistic, but
charming and had a story book
fashion to it. the concept and
art design was refreshingly
original and unique. though
the game was a little too
simple and could be beaten
on first try; however, it still
requires players attention
when speed increases with
every jump, but still nothing
that cant be easily achieved.
as for the music, it was bizzare
to put it simply, though it does
add to the games surreal
atmosphere and experience.
hopefully another odd entry
could be longer and challenging
in terms of gameplay, but otherwise
then that, it was subperb.

booyah!

very fast paced and challenging
game. with the ghosts and monsters
constantly regenerating, it has the
player always in constant motion to
seek comfort from the long range
attacks. not only that, the infamous
level 4 has obstacles galore that
really up the ante on difficulty.
the visuals were pleasing and
had its own artisitc flare. though
the russian did seem a little off putting
at first, but its nothing that anyone cant
handle. so viewers, dont complain about
not being able to understand the storyline,
it isnt that important, so stop being close
minded and enjoy it for what it is. also,
the sound track beats were very enjoyable
and fitting with the unique sense of style,
the screen art was really kick ass too!
hopefully the sequel could have a difficulty
setting and more levels, this was on the short
side however.

another unique take on your
own universe of original creature
concepts and designs. i was kinda
hoping that your next big project
might by a sequel to that of clubby
the seal, since you just finnished up
on the sequel to carious welting. regardlessly,
it is still a refreshing game. visually it was
appealing with all of the bouncy and fluid
graphics with all of the bodily fluids and
secretions. the game also had a interesting
style of playing where you can throw and bounce
the small embreo to gather the sperm, though i
found out that most of the time you can just drag
and slowly move him about instead :P
my only real grip is the transition between
stages of the embreo. i was close to its
completion, but since there is that stoping
period of him growing bigger in size, at least
all the four of the parasites grabbed onto the
fetus, injecting him with their bad dna and killing
the thing instantly. that could be once and awhile
mishap, but i was disgruntled about it...and the
lullaby-esque music on the main screen added
a nice touch.
