monotonous

its as exciting as its sounds,
a bird crapping on cars...sigh*
it was just way too easy, even
with all of the obstacles in the
latter levels. if the idea were
a bit more creative and had
more of a challenge...then
maybe...plus, game design
was too simple and the
graphics were medicore.

outstanding

highly entertaining and
enjoyable game. the psychedelic
visuals with frentic gameplay to
fast beat and original music, this
is a must play. its very reminescent
to ssx, but with a mix of old school
sonic. also, it puts up quite a challenge
so replay value is satistifing.

mediocre

well, it was funny for a min,
but the game just got repetitious
and monotonous afterwards. there
really isnt much of an incentive to
try to complete the game when it
seems you were always in a stalemate;
if your not getting pudding, then your
fixing your camera; when your not fixing
your camera, your getting money; when
your not getting money, your trying to
get pudding. its like this endless conundrum.
the visuals were simplistic and mediocre; the
facial expressions were visually unappealing
and i would easily perfer cartoon caricatures
then actuals pics. though the voice recordings
added a nice touch and im shure there might be
a way to complete...im just not seeing it?

not too shabby

that was hella long,
but very entertaining.
though in terms of originality,
it pretty much failed, but at
least you re-invited the genre.
the gamplay was very unique,
especially the constantly changing
obstacle courses that always has
the player engaged. the visuals
and gameplay however were simplistic;
yet oddly charming, addictive, and appealing.
also, the controls were very responsive, making
it challenging to complete, but adding more replay
value. though i think it would of been a nice and
very helpful feature if you could add a password
system so you dont have to restart from the
beginning if not completed on first view.

lacking any real entertainment

flawed:
i got to admit, i like the animation
style, very remeniscent of the old
school mortal kombat 1, which they
used actual actors for the characters.
though this is a very shallow game,
even for a beat-em up, which i do
realize that most beat-em ups have
that same formula. though most other
games in the genre tend to have more
special power ups and moves then the
generic kick and punch, which seemed
like i was doing instintally through out
its course. it becomes very repitive and
loses appeal way too easily, also, it lacks
creative talent in the presentation...it features
an average joe character fighting random
bums on the street, just needs more visual
flare then this. as for the music, it kinda gets
the job done, but seems to add even more to
the montous feeling you get from the game with
bland, elevator-esque music playing on the main
screen.

Thanks for the review. There's certainly a lot of room for improvement in the game - please check out my next beat 'em up, End of Nightmares, which will be out soon - hopefully you'll like that one better.

solid game

ok:
im wondering why miniclip
has thier games on this site...
anyway, the game was pretty
addictive and engaging. the
sfx were appropiately fitting
and capture the wwii setting.
the animation was good, especially
the explosions galore and the moving
of the airplanes; however, the background
was plain looking and at times and the game
did get a little monotous, especially
constantly restarting after i made it
to the last of the levels end, but accidentally
bumped into another plane and crash. i was
surprised when this happen because most games
arent that realistic or have poor detection colision,
which is a good thing for this. the controls were
really responsive, mainly because its all done
by mouse, which i would easily perfer over the
keyboard controls. overall it was well made
game coming from a professional company,
but the visuals could be a little more appealing
and the option of having more then a life or
changing the difficulty setting, it just becomes
so tedious replaying it from the beginning after
a minor mistake. otherwise then that, great job!

uber!

booyah!
its nice to see an action packed,
intense shooter with sprite graphics
again, such fond memories of the old
school material, though i wasnt really
old enough to play most of the stuff,
kinda grew up with sega..but anyway
this was really addictive and challenging;
so challanging it has the players hooked
and engaged to enshure its defeat, which
im still working on.

tedious

awful:
is it supposedly suppose to get
faster and harder as you progress?
because it seemed like it was getting
easier, also the game wasnt that creative
in terms of gameplay or design. it was
simple minded game, which done right
can still be entertaining, but since having
that type of game walks a fine line, its hard
to pull one off...which this doesnt do. mainly
because theres nothing to break up the
monotony and the game has such a slow
beginning that it might be off putting for
most.

meh:
like how much it resembled
contra. though it seemed to
be rough around the edges
and not run as smooth as the
emulator played contra games
do, but still it must of taken quite
amount of effort and work to pull
off a flash verison of it. though
even as a flash game, it still is
on the short side and there seems
to be quite a few glitches to fix,
like whats up with the randomly
generated bombs? is that suppose
to be designed as part of the gameplay
because i thought they were part of the
enemies attacks? also, for contra it seemed
a little easy, even on hard, mainly because
the character would never die no matter
what.

splendid interactivity

booyah:
thats impressive physics,
the best probably used in an
animation. especially the lighting,
i was impressed when using explosions
or fire related items and watching the light
and shadow skip everywhere accordingly,
then eventually putting it out with a
miscellaneous item such as the hose.
the amount of carnage you can insue is
overwhleming and i know i havent tried
every possible way to inflict damage upon
the little guy. even with such simple weapons
you get in the beginnig was entertaining enough;
ie: the fist and motion blur set up on high is visually
stimulating, it seemed i was performing dbz esque
moves while juggling him all over the screen.
the skins where just further icing on the cake,
though i wish there more because the options
seemed a little weak compared to everything
else. either that or having the option to customize
what he looks like so we can release a little stress
on someone we despise on. the lack of audio was
reasonable since it must of taken you ages to
put all of that detail that you have done in
every other category; however, this does
get boring after awhile since there is only
so much you can do, and besides the spiffy
visual effects, it would of been nice to have
some sort of background to go along with the
game to relieve the amount monotony that
increases over time. despite a few, very minor
qwerks, is still cant keep this game from shinning,
but i would of given it a slightly higer score if it
wasnt so0o short in terms of entertainment, but
at least it was fun while it lasted.
