    not too shabby

wow, not only is it a animation,
it is also a game. so im going to
    give it two scores...
    movie:
    another great 3d animation on
    front page. just watching the
    character models move about
    and around without a stutter
    and smooth framerate is amazing.
the music and sfx werent too shabby,
though the story doesnt seem that
original. i could be wrong, since this
is the first entry in a possible series,
but it just looks like a another megaman
    knockoff.
    ***
    game:
too bad it didnt have all the same effects
as the movie did, but no matter. this had
all the makings of a simpe fighting game
without any complex combos or powerups.
also, their was the occasional stutter and
the whole fight seemed overkill on easy.

    overall avg:

i know this is just the beginning,
but hopefully it will get better in
    future gunchest episodes, if there
are any. plus i would like to see more
    spiffy visual effects.

    omg, that was impressive. no
offense to the FLU series, but
FLU series cant even hold a
light to this. the amount of work
you put into each episode is
    astonishing and it truely shows.
    the voicework sounds very
    professional and the violence
is top notch. not only are the
    graphics kick ass, the voicework
is very gritty and appropiate for
this title; has a great sense of
    realisim. though i remember watching
this a year ago and if it takes a year
for the next episode to come out, then
so be it. it would be great to see this
sometime shorter then that, but whatever
it takes to see another subperb animation.

FLU is pretty good, just lacks a lot of effort in each episodes...but they had released 2 complete series in the time we could release 2 episodes hehe their ambitions is clearly different than ours.

    Thanks for the review dude

    subperb:
    very light hearted and charming.
the animation was great and the
    music was awesome, very fitting
for this movie. though i felt at times
that it was hard to differentiate between
the character and the drawings that the
bear was making. if it was shown from
more angles, it would of been better,
but for what it was, its still good in my
    book.

    not too shabby

    ok:
i never though losing my keys
    would be so dramatic? especially
trying to figure which ones are my
own. the voicework was cheesy, but
in a good way and this was a good spoof
on reality tv shows. though the visuals
were pretty crappy and this wasnt as
funny as i thought it would be, but was
    still midly entertaining.

    enticing indeed

    charming:
it does have a higher meaning i
    think. lets see...the movie started
with the kid having no arms and
    looking depressed; however, when
the nosy kid tried to show him the
proper way to play with it, she met
her unevitable demise to the creature
inside the box. which in turn made the
kid happy not to have arms.
so, in conclusion, you shouldnt see
a disability as a weakness. the animation
was silky smooth and i like your style of
giving big headed characters. though the
main character reminds me of mindistortion's
character. it seems you have been getting a
lot of attention on newgrounds with your last
two titles being on frontpage, which i can only
hope i can see more from you.

    booyah!

    great:
    though the humor doesnt
quite appeal to me as it
use to. it still has the occasional
moment that still gets to me. though
i think im more ready for the big project
in middle of this year, hope it is worth
    the wait.

    awe and ooo

    wow:
    for people complaining about the
plot, stop! its just the beginning
of the series and it wouldnt make
sense if it were to reveal everything.
though i envy you with a passion
because the visuals are so sublime
    and artistic. voicework is very
    proffesional and A grade quality.
though the story seems to me like
a mix of Danny Darko with Alice in
    Wonderland. which is twistedly dark
and creepy, my kind of thing. i think
she is in a near death experience and
hears her boyfriend in the background
or outside of her conscious. that meaning
she is inside her own mind, which explains
the dream like, surreal world. though if that
were true, it seems you already beat me to
the punch. i had an idea for a series like that
and still plan to make one. though these are
just asssumptions and im shure it could be
completely different, which i hope, but no
    matter. cant wait for more.

    ok:
    great character design with the
goblin. i would say that the animation
    was solid and very looney tones inspired;
however, it wasnt that funny or creatively
new. it was charming and the audio or sfx
wasnt too shabby, but the whole overall
experience just felt average. so it
    deserves a average score. though
my little bro got a kick out of it.
    score:
    nothing too new
    or interesting

what keeps this series so great is...
! this actually has plot line, unlike the
rest of the action titles on this site.
! the fighting choreography is amazing
and original. though please avoid the
generic, dbz fire power ups. its just not
    that necessary.
! violence is top notch and brutal.
! vociework is subperb and enhances
the experience. same goes for the
    music and sfx.
! the visuals are smooth, artistic, fluid,
and easy going on the eyes.
! always improving. its easy to tell
that you have put work into this series
    compared to the earkier episodes.
hope to see some more episodes soon.
