rubber ninja is the best

booyah!:
rubberninja:
that was very enjoyable, humor was obviously the highlight; with master chief doing the robot and thinking about puppies as he hides in the happy box. Visuals were great though with the smooth color palette with soft edges; overall it was awesome.
smiffy:
very artistic appeal. Animation was great, but humor wasn't that original. Just don't find the british humor that funny, the scene were they run through all the doors with that very annoying music playing. Though, they weren't running through any doors, it still has the same concept and it has been over used soo may times before. Keeps reminding me of scooby doo, which isn't a good thing; at least it looked great.
nalo:
now I'm starting to see where you guys are starting to get your sense of humor, especially with the reference to scooby doo...again. Though, unlike the last one, it did have some humorous parts. Loved that blue's clues scene, cracks me up every time I see it. Once again, the visuals are great and are top notch quality work.
kayne:
some many things I didn't know about master chief, like he wears nikes and has apple hardware installed in his suit. Also, did he just kill smiffy? Maybe thier won't be any more scooby doo jokes. Though I don't know if I found this that interesting, nothing much happened except hearing spice girls and what was up with the resident evil joke at the end. Maybe not the best of content, but it look good graphically for the twentith time.
maw:
liked how he was siging off key the most, I think he didn't even know the words :D Though I wouldn't consider it the best out of the collection, I think it is on par with the previous cartoon, but way better then smiffy. Yeah, smiffy is dead!!
overall:
collections are alway great, especially when done right. Besides the matrix spoof collection, this is my favourite. It was surprising to see that they all relied on humor, but how interesting would it be if it wasn't?

not too shabby

okay:
I didn't really find it unsettling, sorry.
It had some creepy moments, but it was too incoherent and random to actually enjoy. When about 80% of the movie consists of text and not enough imagery, it is dissapointing. If you are going to do a thriller/horror, you need visual imagery to back it up. Not that it didn't have any, it actually had some, but it seemed to lack in comparison to the text. Also, the imagery was just cheap thrills, I'm sorry if I wasn't scared by it. I did turn off the lights and turned up the sound, and I dead jump once, but becuase in one scene the sound was so sharply, piercing loud. You need to warn people not to do it becuase it's more annoying then horrifying. The concept was great, but it is dissapointing to actually stop the movie after viewing and trying the link to the deleted scenes. This is a bad point because you get taken out of the experience and it loses it momentum of scariness. Voicework was great and it feels more of a richer experience to hear it in other then english. Music was probably the creepiest thing in the movie with odd noises and babies crying. Just wish it wasn't so on the boring side and more disturbing and trust me, your ideas aren't that disturbing, creepy at most. At least it was more psycholigical then just pure violence.
overall:
Not bad, but should have more visuals and more original ideas. It just seemed typical thriller with ideas I have seen before. Voicework and audio was the highlight of the cartoon.
Wasn't that scary, but maybe thats just coming from a horror/thriller fan that has seen his share.

thank you for the amazing in-depth review, very critisizing = very helpful! This is one review I'm noting down because it will make me want to do things with a better quality!

About the imagery, I made it quite blank, I guess thats my style in doing things :)

I had no choice with the deleted scene thing because it exceeded the 16,000 frames limit :(

not too shabby

okay:
I wish there was more content in here to like. I really did enjoy this, but it was on the short side though.
Liked the sense of humor, especially the random antics of strawberry clock.
Animation and graphics were smooth and sharp. My only gripe were the dogs. Basically you took the official artwork of the dogs from the game and actually tried to animate them: which didn't look so great. The backgrounds were high in detail, despite not actually being drawn. Though, I know the actual game isn't well light in the corridors within the manison and is very dark, but you could try to lower the contrast so you could see where the clock crew is at.
Voicework was great, kudos for stawberry clocks enthusiastic voice.
Violence was surprisingly sparse, especially surprising since it based on resident evil. You didn't even show the scene where the zombie is hunched over the dead guy and slowly turns his head to the right with blood all over his face. How can you skip that scene?! Well, maybe I'm complaining too much, but I am a big afficiando of resident evil.
overall:
I would like to see more episodes because I think it will get better, if it is done right. Also, I reccomend that you actually drawn the mosters and just add clocks over their faces, rather then animated gif ones. The zombie looked great especially with the out of focus eye that zombies have, ie: no hands on the clock face.
This looks very promising and I hope to see the next one soon.

short, but sweet

booyah:
I guess I could of seen that coming since this is a short, but I wish it just didn't end so aprubtly.
The animation was great visualy and in style.
Voicework was clear and had some character to it.
Humor wasn't abundant as previous episodes due to it's shortness, but I have to give kudos for pushing the handicapped kid into the pool and the very catchy intro. Also, some of the things that david was saying was funny.
I reccomend that people don't watch it if they are expecting a full length featurette. Though it was short, it had quality presentation in visuals and audio, so more kudos for you.

booyah!

great:
Wow, really good, quality work.
My only complaint was how short it was, but no matter.
Violence was top notch and gory. Liked how the zombies broke apart with blood particles everywhere, very cool to watch. Also, when he disintingrated the flesh of all of the other zombies, it was very niffty.
It would of been great to see the match between him and the bigger zombie thing that looks like astaroth from soul calibur.
Music choice was great and fits with the mood of this episode.

visual eye candy

outstanding:
That was very artistic.
The visuals were great and had this surreal look to it with soften edges, giving it this dream world state. I really need to get a flash for dumies book if they have one :D
It would be great to see subtitles for the asian song because I had no clue as to why it was in there for the first place. It started off great, but when the vocals came in, it did seem out of place and awkard. Besides the audio, the rest was subperbly blissful, very enjoyable just to watch. Also, it was on the short side, but Im not complaining too much about it.

did god just do that?

not too shabby:
God can be a cold blooded bastard.
The ending was unexpected and I found it somewhat humorous.
Voicework was pretty good, especially gods snickering laugh and when the guy was whispering disturbing things.
Though I found myself more disgusted then laughing, which I guess is what you were trying to go for. So congrats for making me feel nauseas.
The visual look was ok, nothing great, but had it's own sense of style. Nice black on white look with simplistic drawings
Though people complain about how much this was sick, which is true, but when you see suck works from sickdeathfiend (ng horror show) or even david firth (milkman) on this site. This looks nothing in comparison to those two.

not too shabby

ok:
The animation was great, but visuals were rough around the edges and choppy. Besides refining the visuals, the rest was ok. Some moves he was pulling off looked awesome and went smoothly. Despite some cool tricks, the concept wasn't that great. What kind of hero is he when he looks boring and lacks any real appeal; very typical and bland look. Also skatebording is so overrated, and all becuase he is good at it doesn't make him a badass. Not that great of a concpet you have going here.
