[The Suburban Ninja 2]

Liked how the ninja was set in modern times. I hope people understand what that advertising was suppose to be on *cough* AOL *cough*, but shouldn't the ninja do a trible back flip down the hall followed by a double heel thrust into the jaw of guard 1? Then a double vicerision of guard 2 with his doubled sided katana? Then lastly a trible thrown shruiken blast causing the gun barrel to explode causing guard 3 to lose his hands followed by the last 2 to peirce both eye sockets of his skull? Lastly do a magical ninja burst to take out the machine and then do a running wall jump out the window and as he is falling, use the kitana by means of slowing his decent down the buildind by thrusting into the wall? You should of studied 101 on proper ninja etiquette.

Good ideas, I'll keep them in mind. Maybe if I had had more than a week or two to work on this project, I could have done some of that, but alas have lost my source file :( Hopefully more of that kinda stuff will be in a future episode.

After looking at all of the feature cartoons on Newgrounds hompage, I head to the portal. For the last couple of days, there hasn't been anything new or intresting. I've been dissapointed with all of the supposedly decent and excellent cartoons in the portal, until now. This is so slick, stylish, and most impressive work I've seen yet. This is the kind of material that I stress for authors to do in their animations, but they won't listen or undrstand me. Most think that thier work is already impressive because of their supposedly rankings...grr! Yeah this is short, but it's sweet, which more then makes up for it's lack of longevity. Also it's original too because I've never seen a cartoon done on bouncers and if I have, at least not where the kid try's to break in by kicking the bouncer's ass by grabbing his...croutch?...lol...plus david hasselhoff is a duffus. The music fits perfectly, despite what people say and didn't really need voices. The dialouge was 2 sentences!!! Nice breath of fresh air and a quite entertaining animation, good job!

3.5/10 viewing: ugly

I guess spending only a day working on it translates into this. I did however like how Pepsi and Coco-Cola characters looked and that they were nicely done, but the animation and story seemed to drag out way to long and left me board and pleading for it to stop. Also, what kinda of battle royal was it when all they did was a simple brain game that even a kindergardener could do...I guess that the other battle, poker, wasn't that bad. I wish that they actually did a physical fighting match too. Also how much of fight was it when they finished Mountain Dew just by opening him?! WOW, I didn't see that coming (sarcastic). It seemed that you just rushed it out in time just to have it finnished and didn't put much thought into making it good and truely stand out.

This cartoon seem more like a like then a dislike in the parody department, hmmm...do you even like that stuff? You seem to quite know about them...(lol), whatever

9.2 out of 10: OMG!!!

I think this is by far the best animation I've seen in awhile and it's saliviating style in in it's own pile of uniqueness. It' the best visual and noir like eye candy since Aura: story mode. Liked the use of black against red with a hinge of white, very effective! This is own of my favorites for shure!!!

OMG!!!
This is by far the best spoof done on MGS yeat. As a MGS fan I notice how you done all of the characters right and most of the story. Most people wouldn't get all of the inside joke humor, but if you played the game you would know. However, I was dissapointed to see Meryl and Revolver Ocelot missing from the picture. I think you could of made fun of them sooo much. Anyway...I think it would be great if you did a sequel based on MGS 2: Sons of Liberty, or some other wacky subtitle, because I think that would be a successful hit. C'mon, just look at Raiden...I hope you do make another because I'll be waiting. Most of the other spoofs on this site suck in animation and style AND for not being accurate. It was refreshing to see that this was nicely done.

I would have liked to have had Ocelot Sniper Wolf and Meryl but I didn't want the movie to be longer than it is because of file size etc.

Not much to say about this because of it's shortness. I did however like how demented the clown was so kudos points for that raising it's score to a 7, but however that was just for viewing.
Overall:
2 ot of 5 r: Nothing too new or interesting
Comment: if it going to be short, it is going have to be sweet to make up for it.

I'm not a big fan of stick fighting, but you cartoon seems unique. Love how you gave it that noir look which kept me from giving it a lower score. Loved the music choice because I've also used that same song in one of my cartoons. Clubbed to Death is just awesome and has a lot of feeling put into it. It's just one of those songs that make you feel invincible...if I'm making any sense. However...the animation was okay and could of used a little working and try to move away from the slow mo, a trick that has been overused. If you were going to make a sequel, try to give it something new and unique to recapture my interest and some of others too.

Too bad it didn't make it with the rest of the authors in th NGTTXII...I though this one used the symbol a bit more effectively then the others.

Thanks. Yeah, i wanted to really make the shape have something to do with the animation. I think that some of the others used the shape really well. Some of them that werent finished were good uses of it. Like the one Luis hasn't finished yet, and one that i saw some pictures of in the forum, where he made it into a person with headphones on.
